Kitchen Tomatoes

Not  new painting--a few years old, in fact.  But I am posting it because next week I will be moving out of the house with this kitchen and leaving my tomato garden behind.  I guess I'll have to start painting farmer's market tomatoes, or maybe grow tomatoes in one of those hanging bags since I will not have a yard at the new place!

New Hampshire Trip

Eamonn on the iPod in the NH woods.  He's wearing his uncle's t-shirt which is gigantic on him.

Flowers on the deck

A fern frond I picked up on a walk

Working on my trees. Birches are beautiful and a bit of a puzzle to work out.

Island Pond viewed from the deck.  I seem to paint this view every time I go.  It really is a lovely view.

Father's Day Bouquet

I love the free time I have in summer!  Bought a beautiful bouquet of flowers for Father's Day a couple of weeks ago and felt inspired to paint them (many times).  I used some masking fluid to create the resist effect on the daisy petals. Am using a new scanner that seems to have added a strange line along the side...hmmm....

Kickin' Back

A few more sketches from New Hampshire, one from the hammock and a sunset view through the trees along Island Pond.

Birch Trees

A couple of pen drawings of birch trees from our July trip to Island Pond in New Hampshire. Also, still working on painting flowers whenever a nice arrangement appears. It's nice to take a vacation in a beautiful spot where there isn't too much to do.
